Who We Are
NMadvisory was created by Neil Mitchell to focus on businesses and individuals who want to know their tax and accounting affairs are reliably taken care of, but would also like to be sure they are taking advantage of the myriad of tax reliefs and planning that can legitimately mitigate liabilities. Neil is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and has experience in a wide range of tax matters. Having spent 12 years with one of the largest global accounting firms, he then developed tax teams for independent Edinburgh firms before taking on partnership over the last 15 years at 3 local and international firms.
Neil has spent many years presenting on tax matters for various firms as well as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Tax is a passion for Neil, but he does still have a life. Munro bagging, cars, whisky, golf and music help to bring some balance to what could otherwise be seen as a strange existence!
